The Puzzles Pirates blogs publish news and information related to Three Rings games. We lub to read comments posted by readers, but believe that comments can become unruly if left completely unmoderated. We follow the same standards for taste as is allowed in-game (see: Honor Among Thieves: The Pirate's Code of Conduct)
A few things we won't tolerate: personal attacks (to an author or commenter), obscenity, vulgarity, profanity (including expletives and letters followed by dashes), commercial promotion, impersonations, incoherence and SHOUTING.
Most comments will be accepted if they are on-topic and not abusive. However, since comments are moderated by individual weblog owners, the decision to take down a comment is subjective. We endeavor to be as consistent and fair as possible in our moderating decisions, but because of the volume of reader comments we cannot address individual moderating cases.
No. Comments are either approved or they're not.
All comments are published to a comments page, which is linked to from the main article. Some blogs moderate individual comments before posting — in these cases, comments are typically posted faster during business and less-frequently in the evening and on weekends.
While we have no objection to commenters using their real names, most people prefer to use their forum name or most-recognizable Pirate name.
Your email address is not required when making a comment, although we do encourage providing a valid email address should we need to get in contact with you. We will never share your email address with another vendor or third-party, or use the address for subscription to any Three Rings mailings lists. Email addresses are confidential and will never be displayed in your comment.
