(Short) Shorts

A nod to economic enthusiast (and Puzzle Pirates player!) who posted about Puzzle Pirates and our player-driven economy in his blog The Faded Mirror. I wonder what he'll make of the new foraging puzzle we are currently testing on Ice?

This week I'm afraid the entry's a bit brief, as we're testing foraging and working on things on both the developer and OM end for the upcoming Summer Games event. I'm really looking forward to it- August is traditionally our busiest month in terms of people playing, and I hope that a lot of people enjoy the new puzzle competitions.

I know I'm going to have fun coming up with prizes. :)

I'm enjoying the foraging puzzle. Hopefully it will balance out the oceans like its needed. (green) This is one of the best puzzle additions ever however, we still have a ways to go. So. Yeah, moar please next time?

Thanks for the nod! We've really enjoyed playing Puzzle Pirates for the past couple of years, and now half the neighborhood kids are hooked, it seems. So, I don't tell them what a great education in economics and business administration they are getting.... I continue to marvel at how well thought out and executed the game is. I had fun writing the post, and I hope I can follow it up with another in the near future! I'll have to check out that new Puzzle.
