With today's release, Pirates can now be tempted by the untold treasures of the Cursed Isles.

As with Atlantis, these formerly uncharted realms have dangers to match their booty.

• Watch for the dread Fog of Chaos!
• Be wary of those hungry, hungry zombies!
• Those crazed cultists look a little peckish, as well!

But treasure awaits! If you get passed the cultist ships and their zombie guards, there be loot enough for all!

The Cursed Isles be a Sea Monster Lair. Ye'll need a special map to navigate there. Yer crew will also need to find themselves bravery badges. Those Cursed Isles are a scary place!

A pictures says it all!

Master Greenbones here is modeling the latest color to be added to Puzzle Pirates, the mysterious Cursed Isle indigo.

Indigo conquered all before it with just shy of seven thousand votes in our poll.

But what's that on Mr. Greenbones shoulder, you say? Well, we hope it be obvious! Greenbones is also modeling his newest and most prized possession, the serpent familiar!, his prize for such a well chosen color.

Stand back. That beastie looks hungry.

Serpent familiars will be awarded to the holders of pirate tickets with the next release. Several events will also be held over the coming weeks with the familiar as the prize.

Be on the lookout for this scaly beast coming to an Island near you, mates! And get ready to sail yerself to the Cursed Isles and get in on all that serpentine, indigo action.

You've heard a great deal of blithering from the Greenbones camp and their so called plans to get back to our Pirate roots.

We're all Pirates, and we've all faced the hardship that comes with defeating brigands and stealing their loot.

But now's not the time to dwell over booty already won. We're at a key moment in Pirate history when we can reach out for and, perhaps, even wear an entirely different color palette.

So, join me! It's time to throw off the chains of past hues. Let's not be satisfied with just orange! Let's not settle for red! There's something right there in between those two that can very definitely add a little something to that hat you've been wanting.

My opponent talks a great deal about how his so called "bright color" platform appeals to the savage, cultist element not only in the Curse'd isles, but across the Oceans. As a Pirate with many years of occult study under me belt, I believe it's time we moved beyond neo-occult special interests and get back to the basic principles that make alchemical necromancy on this Ocean great.

We need to reestablish the strong Caribbean chaos-cult roots that are the bedrock of a true representation of Vargas' Movement!

Let's not forget the deep blues, indigos, and nighttime hues under which the dark pirate sorcerers that went before us have schemed and for which they have all given various extremities.

It's time, my fellow Pirates, to be decisive! It's time to add a color slightly purpler than blue and a bit bluer than purple!

The Cursed Isles bring opportunity for bounty for all buccaneers brave enough to face their dark terrors.

Some of that bounty will bear a unique color that can only be found in the Cursed Isles. Before we launch, we need to decide what that color might be.

This just in from the Ocean Master Magic Tracking Office!

The Ocean Masters have now confirmed a total of nine magical incursions into the game. Reports indicate that all nine are part of a devious incantation with potentially devastating implications for the Oceans of Puzzle Pirates! Alert!

Ocean Masters are still working diligently to unravel the implications of the incantation. Fortunately, experts believe that the full power of the spell will not come into effect until the Halloween holiday. We can only hope that's enough time to resolve the mystery!

Ocean Masters have also issued an All Islands Bulletin for a Captain Vargas, a person of interest in the case. Be on the lookout for markers bearing this strange symbol!

Attention all Intrepid Pirates!

Strange reports have been received at Three Rings Command! Unexplained phenomena of a most ghoulish nature have been occurring on all Oceans.

While still unconfirmed, several Pirates have sighted a strange object while sailing the fair reaches of their Ocean. The included picture is the only evidence we have so far.

Be wary! Pirates report that a strange curse accompanies the object! Fear not, the curse appears to fade when a Pirate leaves their Ocean, even for a moment.

Ahoy Skallywags!

Due to a number of requests from international and school-attending Pirates, we're currently planning to extend the Masquerade Ball through to Saturday, November 1st.

What does this mean? It means we're holding two Masked Balls! Ocean Masters will attend the Masquerade Ball on both Friday and Saturday to organize events, give out prizes, and generally cause mayhem. As with the original plan, the events will kick off in earnest at 12 noon Pirate Standard Time on both days. More details as to the location of the Masquerade Ball will be forthcoming next week.

In light of this change, we've also extended the lifetime of your Masquerade Ball masks! All masks will now last 15 days, giving you an opportunity to attend both days. What nice Pirates we are.
