Ah Fall, a fine time to be a Pirate!
Pirates, young and old, turn their thoughts to their schoolin' in September and start gatherin' supplies for the arduous journey cross the rough Seas of Education (or so we be told — never been there).
To set them in good stead, we here at Three Rings HQ have decided to be most generous with our treasures: for the next two weeks (from August 19th to September 2nd) a very special bounty will be on offer:
We'll add a bonus of an additional 25% more doubloons to purchases made with the Three Rings Target Game Card before September 2nd.
Treasure indeed! So never again say we give no quarter: That 25% be way more than a quarter... Right? Eh, we'll have to ask one of them smarter pirates.
You can learn a little more about the Game Card here, if ye be intrigued. The offer is open to all Pirates that can find their way over to our mates at Target. Just don't tell them yer planning to blow the lot on extra cannon balls! That sign of theirs sure is tempting...

They are indeed available at Target.com. The 10 dollar card card can be found here:

The 20 dollar card can be found here:

They do not ship internationally, however, but do ship to all domestic U.S. areas. Shiping is 5 dollars plus 90 cents tax.

Seriously, go compare the performance of the USD lately to... well, just about anything, really. I think it's fair enough that for two weeks US mates get as much "bang for the buck" as everyone else!

What about those pirates that only play on subscription oceans? Is there any plans to give us, say, a month free or something?

It is a bit unfair. I live in Alaska and we dont have a Target. Although I'm sure there will be more promotions that will be for just other countries and what not, remember we are talking about the creators of the game we have all grown to love.

Well, I know for a fact that the $20 gift card yields 90 dubs. So let's do some math.
25 percent of 90 is 22.5
you add 22.5 to 90 and get 112.5, I believe Three Rings rounds up to the nearest dub. So, whoever redeems a $20 gift card should recieve 113 dubs
90 + (0.25 * 90) = 112.5

From the start when i began playing puzzle pirates,i have always hope for the game to have its own game cards.(cos that will be great for kids who wanted to spend money in games but don't want their parents to find out!) And now, puzzle pirates game cards really became a reality but for people like me who didn't live in the US,games cards are just as good as credit cards which we don't have.It would be great if the cards could be a little more open to the foreign market. That means having shops and convenience stores outside US to carry the products. No offence but i felt that the game seems to be targeting only the US domestic market....

I wish it applied to online packages also, because it should be available to all players everywhere. Everyone should have the same bonus.
I can make a special trip to Target, but others cannot. Also having to enter the codes (which for us older players are hard to see) is a nusiance.

I think this offer is VERY unfair.
Why not extend it to all payments made by say PayPal ... then anyone anywhere in the world could take advantage of it ... not just the Yanks who get EVERYTHING cheaper anyways!

To all you that say this offer is unfair. I guess it might be considered unfair to you that live outside of the US, but if you consider the value of the USD lately its really not that unfair. Also this is just a bussiness deal YPP is doing a promotion with target which is giving ypp cash for there promotion for target, Which is being put to making all the servers better for all of you to play. So please stop complaining about this promotion im sure they will do one with paypal ect. sometime in the future.
