A Letter from the Captain
Ahoy Mates!
I am incredibly proud to celebrate five years of Puzzling Piracy with you, our loyal players. Over 250 million hours of Puzzling! 4 million Puzzle Pirate accounts! And, let’s not forget the one and a half million forum posts.
We’ve navigated from our home cove on Azure out on to the wide seven seas (Cobalt, Hunter, Malachite, Midnight, Opal, Sage, and Viridian). Along the way, we’ve seen innumerable additions to Puzzle Pirates; a few are listed here:

I think this trophy idea is not well organised. My account is over three years old, I deleted my pirate not so long ago because I had some personal problems and made myself a new one, but no trophy for me.
It's not our pirates who have been loyal, it's us players. I think you should have based the trophies on our accounts and not on our pirates. I'm disappointed...

I agree with Ilka .. I saw the spyglass, got so excited by the prospect of getting 3 trophies, as I had been playing for 3 years, and I got nowt because this pirate is only 3-4 months old :(
I am gutted ...

Dang. I made an acc pre-BK, it got deleted. Plus, I'm 100% sure I was playing on my current acc pre-Atlantis. Why don't I at least have the trophy for one year?

I agree with some of the comments. I believe that we should have gotten the trophies based on the account duration, not the pirate one. As a I have switched to playing the newest ocean and I have no purdy trophies (with I think look awesome) to display there since Malachite hasn't been open a year yet.

Considering my pirate was moved accounts about a year into playing, I am glad that the trophies were not based account wide. Just think about all the people who may have missed out in my situation should the trophies be account wide.
When there are winners there are losers, I am just thankful the Oceanmasters have kept this game running well for so long, thanks!

Looks like no new oceans will be made, I can't be positive though. The Seven Seas being used in Piratey context all the time, and we have 7 right now.

Congratulations, OOO, for surviving this long.
I feel rather uneasy with all the grind incentives you've added as of late, though. But it was inevitable, as with any MMO :/.

Who can I talk to about letting my paid for account for the whole year continue to have access since my little son of 13 screwed up one time and removed what he fealt was his poe from another player-thus without any notice whatsoever being removed from the game. I haven't played for over 2 weeks and I am going through withdrawal pain. I really am innocent and beg for someone to look into my account-I have several other pirates who will vouch for my creadability and swear that I would never in a million years steal anything. I had 36k, 2 stalls full of business, 2 vessals, 2 homes, and much more-why would I steal? I was set up by a 13 year old, can someone please help me out here?

I disagree with new oceans because as someone pointed out it is the 7 Seas not 8 lol. But I don't like this trophy plain because my account was a 6 almost 7 I missed the first couple months of the game and they deleted my account that I paid good money for so I think other people would agree.So next time try to rethink this because I'm sad :(

ONE question...What's the duration of a PP acc? Might sound a bit newbish but I've been playing PP for two long periods, later on ended two months ago or something ~~ So...now when I eagerly wanted to play poker again (remembering good ol' days in PP) my character was once again found deleted :/...so WHAT'S the duration of a acc? :P
