Take a Vacation For Yer Seal o' Piracy!
Just because it's September doesn't mean the summer fun has to end! It's time to celebrate the end of summer vacation with... a Puzzle Pirates vacation!
From now until the end of the month, pirates who visit and complete three of the following four exciting Puzzle Pirate destinations will earn themselves an awesome Seal o' Piracy trophy for September! What are those destinations, you ask?
- An Atlantean Citadel!
- A Cursed Island!
- A Buried Treasure Atoll!
- A Lost Shipwreck!
Better hurry, though: once September slips away, your chance at the Seal will be gone, so grab your favorite ship and some friends and head on out for adventure! Oh, and be sure to bring us back some cool souvenirs.
NOTE: Players on Crimson are only required to visit two of those destinations to earn their trophy. Sorry for any confusion!

Trophy sounds like fun and will be more challenging than the August one for sure. Eggy, if OOO didnt have subscribers, they wouldn't make any money [which they pay developers, OM's and all them people with] and you wouldn't be able to play altogether.
If you really are tight about giving something back to OOO, move to a doub ocean, and stop complaining.

This sucks. No SMH badge means no trophy.
Most SMH won't attack citadel and CI is for elite.
None for Crimson ocean?
2 of the 4 should give the trophy.
Whoever came up with this plan should loose their job. I'm so disappointed with this:(

Those of you who are complaining about "needing to buy a bravery badge" - that's the point. This is a gimmick to get you to spend money. Besides, it's just a trophy, a 60x60 picture at best, it's not a sweepstakes or something even minutely *useful*.
As for me, I'm going to do everything in my power to resist clicking that Purchase Badge button.
Though something really should be done about the issue on Crimson.

I find it sad to see so many <18 year olds whining about something that OOO made it for... well yes, to sell subs and badges, but for fun too. This game is supposed to be fun, but if you keep focusing on what you CANT do instead of what you CAN do, then you'll always be unsatisfied.
OOO offers free servers, where you can buy anything you want with just POE without spending a single penny on the game. And besides, I think the best thing this game offers is the chance to make new friends and have fun which those who already are your friends. Is not like this is the freaking LOTTO or something.

Okies, as i've been one of the 'retired's for a while, i'm not really gonna be going for this one. However I will say this...yes, the dub market is out of sight but that's not OOO's thing, that's the users themselves that control the economy.
I actually have purchased dubs in the past even though my budget sorely can't afford it often, because i like to support a company who is as kind to us as they are. There is no other game that i am aware of that treats both sub and non with as much fairness and kindness then they have shown us...and have given us as much as they have. As someone said, it's an image. However I would purchase a bravery badge (actually i have one at all times, reg badge, parlor badge, bravery badge) just for the mere sake of hanging out with my friends. If you need more of a reason then that, that's not 3 Rings problem. Deal with it.

I can partially understand why OOO is trying making 2 of the 4 events only able to complete with a bravery badge. They want people to spend dubs, to help bring down the price. Seriously, this is simple economics they're trying to pass. Offering a trophy is the incentive to buy! That's why, don't look for changes in the future.

I find it funny how everyone complains for new badges and challenges, then when OOO thinks of something new all they get is complaints. I have never purchased dubs IRL but I am doing fine. (I am waiting for them to come to a store in Ontario :)..
If you purchase one SMH badge it doubles your poe pretty much and you have fun doing it..
OOO is trying to challenge all pirates to get out there and not be stuck in the Inn all day, so get out have fun and meet new pirates :)

Well, i'm not going to lie and say this is an awesome badge... But honestly this game is starting to annoy me more and more. Poker is fun, but you'll never get anywhere in the game without a decent poker stat. Pillying is great but not lucrative enough to actually get you money, and CI's are incredible but people only want elites, which alot of people are not. And SMH's take like 4 hours for any hope of a decent reward! I mean this game wants you to play poker to make a profit, i say lets get back to the piratey aspect of this game.

Even as a long term active player this is out of reach.
Even tho I SMH at least once every two days, Ive only been in Citadel 3 times in a year.
Shipwrecks and Buried treasure are luck of the draw, and CI, although no problem for me with three ultimates is something alot of pirates with low stats never get to do.

really, This trophy was fairly easy to get, im on a dub ocean and i got it in two days. I dont know what the fuss is about, its just a trophy, its not like the game doesnt have enough of thoses, besides its not like its a super special piece of furniture. On the other hand I see that the parlour games such as poker are gaining too much pirates to their tables, wich wasn't like that some years ago.
Regarding this special prize...I guess there would be some fairness if another reward for less elite ones could be done!!!
No one take in pple that are not in elites for ci, or other tasks.
So this prize is only for pple who are great in puzzling or have lots of time to spend here. Personally , I also live.

Besides having the awesome chance to easily support a game that I love so much and the people who keep it running, it's fun to have in your pocket to show off! Since you can purchase them with the ONLINE Target store (search for 'Three Rings' once yer in) you don't even have to have a store near you!

Makes me wonder anyway. I have 4 out of the 4 for the month of September (including 3 times to the citadel at least) still no seal. Makes me wonder what you have to do to get it. When I petition, I am told obviously I havent gotten them all. When I ask what I am missing, cant tell me. So not sure if the seal really works. I know i have cursed isle, citadel (with Axemaniac), Looting of Ship, and numerous Digging for treause.

I tried... got 2 out of 4. :( Couldn't seem to catch an atlantis trip that'd go to the citadel, and only ever kept getting shipwrecks on expeditions. Really wanted the September seal, but oh well, I guess.
Probably won't go after any others, really just wanted September's, and it was disappointing to try as hard as I did and still not get it- not through lack of trying, just opportunity.
