Mid-Shift Thought

I really do like creative standard renames. They're so much fun, and they make me smile. But oh, I really can't approve this one. >.<

Funny moment - thought I'd share it briefly!

I enjoy watching blockades, and seeing which ships get used for what type of board layout. I'm currently watching a blockade on Sage, and thought to myself "wow, a xebec! I don't see those often!"

Then I thought to myself, "oh, right. That's me."

In conclusion, I am quite smooth. Carry on.

I get to do the December Daily Doodles this week. I am very excited about this. The first thing I ever said to Apollo was, and I quote "Hi, it's nice to meet you. May I do a guest doodle?" (There may also have been a few "pleeeeeease? Pleeeease? You're so great. Doodles are great. I'll love you forever"s and similar scattered in there.)

Kind fellow that he is, he said "Absolutely!" and signed me up for an Easter Easel guest spot, not knowing that I'd meant December! And so I did a bit of running around with my hands in the air going "I thought I had MONTHS oh dear oh dear why am I suddenly stupid and empty of interesting ideas?!" and came up with Hiding A Parrot, which was very fun, and just in tme.

This time, I am prepared, and there is an embarrassment of riches. Not only am I getting to do a doodle, I'm getting to do FIVE! The first one will be posted tomorrow at 4AM game time. I can't wait to see what you all come up with, clever pirates that you are. The doodles so far have been spectacular. I hope you all enjoy this week as much as I will.
